Deliverance with Discernment / Liberación con Discernimiento

Spiritual Authority Requires Discernment

Our ministry believes in deliverance through the authority of Yeshua and prayer to YHWH. That conviction calls us to humility, careful listening and respect for the person seeking help. Discernment begins with Scripture and truthfulness, never with a need to produce a dramatic experience.

The courtyard teaching image represents shared study and careful counsel. Spiritual maturity grows when we ask honest questions and examine what we are taught.

What Do Deliverance and Exorcism Mean?

Deliverance is a broad ministry term for prayer seeking freedom from spiritual oppression and support in turning away from destructive practices. Some Christian traditions use exorcism for direct prayer addressing what they believe is an evil spirit. These terms describe religious beliefs and practices, not medical diagnoses.

Torah calls us away from idolatry and occult practices toward faithfulness to YHWH. The Gospels describe Yeshua delivering people from unclean spirits. Our teaching reads these accounts within the wider call to love, obedience and responsible care.

Distress Is Not Proof of a Demon

Fear, depression, unusual experiences, illness or addiction must not automatically be labeled possession or a curse. Such experiences can have many causes. We listen without rushing to conclusions and support appropriate medical, mental health and recovery care alongside prayer.

A responsible ministry does not shame a person for symptoms or advise stopping prescribed treatment. Someone who needs urgent medical help should receive it promptly.

Test the Teaching and the Practice

Scripture: Does the teaching fit the passage in context?

Character: Does the approach show truthfulness, patience and mercy?

Consent: Is the person free to ask questions, decline participation or stop?

Accountability: Are expectations clear, with privacy respected and no promised outcome?

Fruit: Does the ministry encourage faithful living and healthy support rather than dependence on a personality?
