Gifts Begin with the Giver

The scroll and lamplight symbolize the instruction of YHWH guiding a life of service. We seek the Ruach HaKodesh so that our words, decisions and ministry reflect truth, love and holiness. A spiritual gift is received for the good of others; it is not a title that places a minister beyond accountability.

A Foundation in Torah

Exodus 31:1–5 describes Bezalel being filled with the Spirit of God for wisdom, understanding and skilled work. Numbers 11:24–29 describes the Spirit resting on the elders. These passages show that service and responsibility belong with spiritual empowerment. In the apostolic writings, 1 Corinthians 12 describes different gifts serving one body.

Discernment, Prayer and Prophecy

Discernment means examining teaching and conduct in the light of Scripture. Deuteronomy 13:1–4 warns that even an impressive sign must not draw people away from YHWH. First Corinthians 14:29 calls for prophetic speech to be weighed. A strong feeling does not establish a fact about another person, reveal a hidden sin or provide a medical diagnosis. Leaders should welcome careful questions.

Growing in the Gifts

Begin with teshuvah, study, prayer and practical service. Ask YHWH for wisdom and opportunities to help. Learn in a community that values humility and correction. First Corinthians 13 places love at the center; gifts never excuse harshness, manipulation or humiliation. The Ruach is not controlled by a formula, a payment or the volume of a prayer.

Prayer for Service

Adonai, form in us a willing and discerning heart. By Your Ruach HaKodesh, strengthen us to serve faithfully in Yeshua’s name. Let our gifts build others up and our conduct honor Your instruction. Amen.

Discernir y Crecer

Deuteronomio 13:1–4 exige fidelidad a YHWH aun frente a señales impresionantes.
